Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking at Château de Pouech, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not proceed with a booking.

Description of Accommodation

Château de Pouech is a holiday gîte / self-catering rental property. Bookings are for short-term holiday stays as confirmed at the time of reservation.

Booking and Payments

  • A booking is confirmed once the required deposit (30% of the total rental price) has been paid.
  • The remaining balance is due as stated in your booking confirmation. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking.
  • Cancellations and partial cancellations (for example reducing the length of stay or number of guests where this reduces the rental price) must be notified in writing at least 60 days before the scheduled arrival date to be eligible for a refund of amounts paid beyond the deposit.
  • Cancellations or partial cancellations made less than 60 days before the scheduled arrival date are not eligible for a refund as of right. Any refund in such cases is solely at the discretion of the host provider.
  • The 30% deposit is non-refundable and is retained as a cancellation fee in all cases of cancellation or partial cancellation, regardless of when notice is given.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel or partially cancel your booking by contacting us in writing. To receive a refund of amounts paid beyond the 30% deposit, cancellation or partial cancellation must be received at least 60 days before the scheduled arrival date. Outside that period, any refund is at the host provider’s discretion. The 30% deposit is forfeited as a cancellation fee on every cancellation or partial cancellation.

Changes to Your Booking

Requests to change dates, guests, or other booking details are subject to availability and the approval of the host provider. Material reductions to a booking may be treated as a partial cancellation and subject to the cancellation policy above.

Guest Responsibilities

You are responsible for the conduct of all guests staying under your booking, for leaving the property in a reasonable condition, and for complying with any house rules provided at or before check-in. You agree to accept responsibility for any damage caused during your stay beyond fair wear and tear.

Limitation of Liability

Château de Pouech and the host provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your booking or stay, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions. The terms in force at the time your booking is confirmed will apply to that booking, unless a change is required by law.
