This gite in Saint Girons is in the hamlet of Pouech, 10 minutes drive from St Girons, the main local town with plenty of supermarkets, shops, restaurants, cafés and a bustling farmers' market on Saturday mornings. The nearest grocery shop is 3 minutes away, in Engomer if going towards Castillon, or in Castillons (10 minutes) or St Girons (15 minutes). The Couserans valley is famous for its Moulis cheese and Bethmale cheese and lots of local honey with local cheese shop in the hamlet and a larger cheese shop in Luzenac, all within walking distance of the holiday cottage. The Lodge is very easily accessible, with ample parking on the property of the Chateau in Ariege

• Then head for Moulis, 09200, Ariege, France
• Then drive on to Luzenac, 09200, Ariege, France
• At Luzenac, turn right and drive up the hill to the hamlet of Pouech.
• Take the first right in Pouech and reverse into the Lavoir to enter the Chateau gates
