Excellent, unbeatable
The gîte is excellent in every aspect. The location is superb, with a great view and nice and quiet surroundings. The garden of the palace it is adjacent to is great and fun, including two labyrinths! The gîte is very spacious, confortable and it is a pleasure to cook in the perfectly equiped kitchen. The rooms are also very spacious, cosy and comfortable, as it is the bathroom, with an enjoyable and large bath. And the best of all are the owners, Pete and Dalilla, superfriendly and eager to help on anything and both very interesting to chat with. And if you go with kids, as we went, they easily become friends with the owner´s kids. By far, the best gîte in the area.

Enjoy a castle life hosted by Pete in Ariège
We enjoyed very much staying in the Loge (Custodian house ?) of the castle of our host, in a beautiful brand newly fixed 3 bedrooms + living room/kitchen in this custodian building near the main castle. Bright place, confortable, in a beautiful environment facing south (Spain !). Pete is a very enjoyable hosts totally bi-cultural but now well established in the local community. Let him tip you on what to enjoy around. A must if you drive around there.
A most beautiful part of the Pyrenees
We had the most fabulous stay in Pouech. The Lodge House is exactly as described and pictured and is in a most beautiful part of the Pyrenees readily accessible to many attractions and destinations. Our hosts made us most welcome and could not have been more helpful. It is understandable that they have great pride in the extensive renovations undertaken to provide such superb accommodation. We cannot rate the Lodge, its location or our hosts highly enough – our accommodation and time in Pouech was simply magnificent!

Nice and convenient house in the mountains
New, pretty, with everything you need for a stay with friends and family, this house close to a wonderful castel is ideal for a great stay in Saint-Girons area.
The most beautiful setting you could imagine
Set in the grounds of a fairy-tale chateau, this gite is stunning. The interior is pretty special too, all beautifully renovated by the owners to a very high standard. The owners are truly delightful and will make you feel very welcome indeed. I cannot recommend this enough for a magical, relaxing ‘get away from it all’ holiday. You are also right on the edge of the Pyrenees, great for hiking, skiing, etc. and there is a great parasailing place just down the road – an amazing way to see the beautiful landscape from above.
An amazing chateau
An amazing chateau (with incredible
bathrooms! ) nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Loads of walking for all abilities, a great market every Saturday and some lovely cafés in nearby st. Girons.
