  1. The proprietor lets the following property to the tenant:

 

A detached holiday house, situated Rue de la Hount, Hameau de Pouech, 09200 MOULIS, France

  1. The Loge is a holiday accommodation for 6 people maximum (adults or children over 3 years old).
  2. The rental property is a non-smoking
  3. No pets allowed in the property.
  4. The rental property is fully equipped and furnished.
  5. Bed and bath linen is included in the price.
  6. The tenant receives a set of house keys for the duration of the rental period.

 

  1. Rental period, Arrival and Departure

 

  1. The rental property is let to the tenant from the ________ until the _________.
  2. The arrival time on the arrival day is from 16h in the afternoon.
  3. The checkout time on the day of departure is at 11h in the morning.

 

Before you leave and in order to help with the arrival of the next guests, please:

  • Check you haven’t left any personal belongings.
  • Empty and take away any rubbish from the bins.
  • Take any recycling to the recycling bins at the bottom of the hill
  • All dishes should be cleaned and put back in the cupboards.
  • Empty the refrigerator.
  • Check off all items on the inventory.
  • Strip the beds and place all dirty bed and bathroom linen near the washing machine.
  • Remember to give the property keys back, either in person or if not available, in the letterbox at the gate entrance of the property.
  • Lock all doors and close all windows.

 

  1. Rental price and payment methods

 

  1. The rental price is ___ for the entire property for the duration of the rental period of ___  The cost of electricity, water and heating is included.
  2. A deposit of 30% of the total rental costs will be required to reserve your stay, payable by cheque or bank transfer, with these terms & conditions dated and signed.
  3. The full amount (minus the 30% deposit) will be required 15 days prior to arrival.

 

  1. Cancellation and early termination
  1. If the tenant terminates the contract:
  • More than 60 days before the rental period – 100% of the rental price will be refunded if already paid
  • Between 60 days and 30 days- 70% of money rental price (rental price minus deposit) will be refunded if already paid.
  • 30 days before the rental period starts – the tenant will be responsible for paying 100 % of rental price.
  1. If the tenant terminates their stay early, they are still responsible to pay the full rental price.
  2. If the proprietor has to cancel the booking due to unforeseen events or circumstance beyond his control, he will notify the tenant immediately and refund any monies already paid. If the cancellation is due to non-extraordinary events or circumstances, the proprietor will also pay the tenant the equivalent of 20% of the rental costs.
  3. Termination is only accepted in writing.

 

  1. Liability and Responsibilities of the Tenant
  1. The rental property including the furniture and the other contents are to be treated with care.
  2. The tenant is held responsible for the actions of other people within the house.
  3. The tenant is liable for all damaged goods, damage to the property or anything else related to the property, whether caused by themselves or their accompanying guests.
  4. Faults that are found before or during the rental period are to be reported to the proprietor immediately.
  5. Animals are not allowed inside the property.

 

  1. Contract wording and clause
  1. Changes and alterations of this contract need to be in writing.
  2. If some of the legal requirements of this contract are inoperative or impractical, or become so after completion of the contract, the effectiveness of this contract will not be affected. At the point of inoperative or impractical legal requirements the individual should reach an agreement that comes as close as possible to the economic goals that the parties of the contract tried to achieve.
  3. This contract relates to the law of the following country: FRANCE.
